These are all photos captured from the internet.... Usually I enjoy planning the trip myself.... but for Alaska, the task seemed rather daunting..... A friend had enjoyed working with a travel agent in Virginia Beach who had been to Alaska over 15 times.... so I figured she was the perfect person to help out in the planning. Based on our interest in seeing some of the inland area as well as the coast we booked with Princess. We will have 4 nights on land before we head to sea for the cruise toward Vancouver.
We will begin in Whittier, then on to the Denali Lodge for 2 nights.... then we will take a train ride back to the port for the cruise itself.
If we have internet, I will try to upload new posts as we travel.... sometimes that can be a problem. If it is.... I will post when I return home.
